Mumbai Airport T1 and T2: Check Your Terminal Before Travel
Check CSMIA terminal and flight details, plan a Pune airport drop and distinguish Mumbai Airport from the separate operational NMIA.
Start with the airport and flight
Mumbai CSMIA and Navi Mumbai International Airport are separate airports. NMIA is operational and its official site publishes live flight information. Use the airport name on your ticket, then confirm the flight’s current terminal with the airline or airport.
Do not choose T1 or T2 from an old airline list
Terminal allocations can change. A rule remembered from a previous trip, or a static list saying an airline always uses one terminal, is not enough. CSMIA’s flight-information pages provide access to current arrivals, departures and airline details. Recheck shortly before travel if you receive an airline update.
An inter-terminal movement takes extra planning
T1 and T2 have different access and collection arrangements. If you need to move between them, consult CSMIA’s current inter-terminal coach guidance and allow time for the connection. Do not use a fixed road distance or transfer duration as a guarantee, and do not assume a flight connection removes baggage or check-in requirements.
Calculate a Pune departure from the reporting deadline
Ask your airline when you must report for the specific flight. Work backwards from that deadline using the current route estimate, planned breaks and an additional delay margin. For a flight after midnight, check the calendar date carefully: the road journey may need to begin on the previous date.
Confirm facilities before relying on them
Lounge eligibility depends on the lounge, card or paid-access conditions and the passenger’s flight. Check the airport or provider directly for current opening and access information. The same applies to food outlets, parking and assistance. A cab booking does not include lounge entry or priority airport processing.

Will a cab booking guarantee I catch my flight?
No operator can guarantee airport processing or road conditions. Plan around the airline’s reporting deadline with an appropriate buffer.
